Delighted to be at The Wheel summit yesterday. Really interesting speakers including An Taoiseach Micheál Martin. Both saddening and heartening to hear him acknowledge that “climate change is now”.
And yet, this and other remarks throughout the day point to how we need to broaden how we think about the challenges facing life on this planet. Climate change is sadly just one of a host of planetary boundaries being crossed.
As Luis Alberto Camargo says in the Inner Green Deal podcast, the focus is on what we do in the world but not how we see it.
We change practices but not how we practice.
And yet, ultimately, it is the inner transition that will power the outer transition to a regenerative future.
